Shirodhara:

Warm oil application to the head, which lasts for 30 min. The effect is profound relaxation of the nervous system. An ancient way to detoxify our body. Herbal oil will be applied generously all over the body to soften the skin and draw out the toxins. Hot steam is applied by sitting in a steam box. Pinda Swedana:

Medicated bag application. Rice, milk and herbs (depending on the dosha) are boiled together, put into a cotton cloth and are massaged into the aching area for 30 minutes. A pot with warm milk will keep the bags warm, which will be exchanged, when cooled down. The heat opens up the pores of the skin and the herbs can penetrate the muscles and ligaments. This treatment will improve the circulation and has a detoxifying effect. Diseases like chronic rheumatism, osteoarthritis, gout, facial paralysis, joint pains and aching muscles are treated with this technique.

Nadi Swedana:

Localised herbal steam aimed at individual body areas for pain due to arthritis, muscle problems, carpal tunnel syndrome, paralysis.

Basti/ Oil Enema:

Especially for vata conditions, which causes dryness of the skin, the muscles, ligaments, joints and intestines leading to aches and constipation. It lubricates the person from inside, relieving pains, aches and dryness.
